Slacker Mommy Moments

So I don'tknow if any of you have noticed, but on my blog I have links to other websites that I frequently visit. One of them is Mormon Mommy Wars. It is a fun blog about other Mormon mommies and their quips on life.
I visited the site today and read this post- http://www.mormonmommywars.com/?p=1095.
Do read. It is so funny. We all have our "slacker mommy moments". I will be the first to admit it. However, I must confess that after reading the author's list I felt a little better about some of my slacker moments. Just for fun I will list a couple of mine...and please feel free to join in.

1. Yesterday was a CRAZY BUSY day and the kids needed a bath before bed because they had played outside, but I was too tired to give them one. I handed each one a wipe and said "Go at it." And no they didn't get a bath this morning either.

2. I have to admit that on the weekends my kids only brush on Sundays before church. Sick I know, but I make sure they do a REALLY good job every other night.

3. I think I already posted this, but because the babies are so young, we didn't get them a Christmas present. Isn't that horrible? I think I can get away with it this year too;)

Ok, so I really can't think of anymore right now, but if you guys comment back with some of yours maybe that will get the ball rolling....don't want to be the only one airing my dirty laundry ;)

Between you and me and the blog world reading...my nine year old is in love with dogs...it is crazy...i don't want one and have despised having the ones we have in the past. Well, the ones we had in the past..."ran away" conveniently while I wasn't home to find them. I totally lied to my lovely daughter and would do it again if need be. This is one of many bad mom moments!!
Love ya!

I think that you have heard this one but when my kids are babies, I often times don't want to get up in the night for feedings so Chris has had to lift my shirt up and latch the baby on while I keep on sleeping!!! I have plenty more, but I will have to think a little harder. Oh wait, when Alyssa broke her wrist it took me 2 weeks to take her into the Dr. or even realize it was broken. NICE!!

I could definitly take up a lot of room on my slacker moments...but you know as of right now I plead the mommy brain and can not come up with any on my own, but since you have been present for so much of it, I am sure you could remind me of some of my most shining moments...
