We had an adventure day with the kids. We figured that a day focused on them was needed since school has started and they are gone all day, and basically just come home, do homework, eat dinner, bathe and go to bed. We started the day with Ron's football game (which they won), then a birthday party for a family in the ward. These weren't part of the "adventure", but fun activities nonetheless. Our first adventure was a stop at Baskin Robins. The kids got to pick their own ice cream. Cierra and Dylan both settled on orange sherbet and Jonah on chocolate chip.
Everyone is finished except Cierra....as usual....such a lady with her legs crossed.
Our second adventure was the base park. We never go to this particular one so they thought it was pretty cool.
Dylan on the monkey bars
Dylan peaking through a window on the playhouse.
Making them pose for a tree photo-op.
Making them pose again.
Our third adventure was a trip to the dollar store to pick out a toy. Always an adventure at the dollar store....especially in San Antonio.
Is that Dylan??? OOh he scared me!!
Our final adventure was a trip to the duck pond to feed the ducks.
Dead duck.
The babies were there too.
Another tree photo-op.
We had a blast. It was hot and we were ready to come home. Their only request was that next time we do an adventure day that we somehow end up at Chuckycheese!!

Too Cute! I want a picture of all three of them in the tree in the branches. That is so cute. That would make a great present for Dad you know!
You sure do have a beautiful family. What a great "adventure" day. How did mom and dad fair? when is your next non-adventure day for the two of you. Thanks for the reminder of how to have fun for the kids...
what fun! You are a good mom and I'm sure they will have lots of wonderfully fun memories of growing up.
I just love these pictures of everyone. They are great and so colorful, showing many things you have fun doing. I think of you everynight when I dive into my dish of ice cream (really not every night!) Love, Grandpa John and Grandma Sharron
